The newest machine on our floor needs no introduction, but it’s getting one anyway. Pokémon Pinball by Stern is here, it’s lit up, and it is every bit as good as you’re hoping.
This is the real thing. Not a digital recreation, not a tribute. Stern built a full commercial pinball machine around the franchise that owns most of our childhoods, and the result is one of the most complete licensed tables they have ever shipped.
You Actually Catch Pokémon
Here’s the hook that sets this table apart. You start every game by dropping into one of four biomes, forest, water, mountain, or desert, and your job is to hunt. Shoot the illuminated, mechanically animated Poké Ball to catch Pokémon, build your team, and work toward filling out your collection. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu are all in play, and the whole table is built around the catch, battle, train loop that made the games addictive in the first place.
It looks the part too. There’s an animatronic Pikachu on the playfield, Team Rocket’s Meowth hot air balloon swooping into the battle arena to mess with your run, and a screen up top running actual clips from the original animated series. Add custom voiceovers for Pikachu and Giovanni plus the original Pokémon Theme song and you’ve got a machine that hits every nostalgia button at once.
And ours is the Premium. That means an interactive electromagnet built into the battle arena that grabs the ball and throws real chaos into your shots. The ball does things you don’t expect, your aim goes sideways, and the whole table gets a wild streak the standard model doesn’t have. It’s the version you want to be playing.

Sign in before you play and every Pokémon you catch gets saved to your personal collection in the app. It carries across sessions and across machines, so the team you build on our floor is yours to keep.
