Trivia Night Recap April 8th 2026

Trivia Night Recap (Apr 8th, 2026)

Trivia Night is back, and this one had something for every kind of nerd in the room. Four sections, eighty questions, and a whole lot of pop culture knowledge put to the test — covering Game of Thrones, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and a finale round of pure 1980s nostalgia. Some teams crushed it. Others discovered some surprising gaps in their fandom credentials. Check your answers below and see how your crew stacked up!

Game of Thrones Trivia Recap

Winter came to Time Rift Arcade — and so did some seriously devoted fans of the Seven Kingdoms.

Our first section of the night took trivia teams deep into the world of Westeros, testing knowledge of houses, words, weapons, and the kind of lore that only true devotees of George R.R. Martin’s epic saga would know cold. From the frozen wastes beyond the Wall to the scheming corridors of the Red Keep, no corner of the realm was off limits.

Some teams sailed through the early questions with the confidence of a Lannister counting gold — but the deeper we went, the more the field separated. Valyrian steel, wildfire, greyscale, and the fine print of small council politics had a few teams sweating harder than a Night’s Watch recruit on his first ranging.

Did your team survive the night? Check your answers below and find out if you truly know your Westeros — or if you’re headed for a seat on the Iron Throne made entirely of wrong answers.

Avatar the Last Airbender Trivia Recap

The Fire Nation may have attacked, but Time Rift teams were ready.

Round two took us out of Westeros and into the Four Nations, where the fate of the world rests on a bald twelve-year-old with a flying bison and a whole lot of growing up to do. Whether you’re a die-hard fan who can recite Uncle Iroh’s tea philosophies from memory or someone who binged the series on a rainy weekend, this section had something to humble everyone.

The early questions warmed up the crowd nicely — but things got spicy fast. The deeper cuts about pirates, cabbage vendors, underground earthbending rings, and Fire Nation undercover aliases sorted the casual fans from the ones who have genuinely watched this show too many times. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trivia Recap

Cowabunga, Time Rift! Round three took us underground — way underground — into the sewers of New York City for a deep dive into one of the most beloved franchises in pop culture history.

From the original 1984 black-and-white indie comic to the cartoon that defined Saturday mornings for an entire generation, this section covered decades of turtle lore. Think you know your Leonardo from your Donatello? Your Foot Clan from your Mousers? Your Oroku Saki from your Hamato Yoshi? This round had no mercy.

The early questions gave teams a fighting chance — but once we got into the weeds on comic book origins, cartoon theme song writers, Jim Henson animatronics, and the finer points of mutagen research companies, the shell really hit the fan. 1980’s Trivia Recap

Alright, Time Rift — we saved the best for last. Put down your pizza, set aside your nunchucks, and stow the bending for a minute, because round four was a full-on nostalgia trip through the greatest decade in pop culture history.

No single franchise, no single fandom — just pure, unfiltered 1980s Americana. Presidents and space shuttles. Jingles you still can’t get out of your head. Toys that defined childhoods. Commercials burned into your memory whether you wanted them there or not. If you lived through the ’80s, you had no excuse. If you were born after, well — consider this your education.

Some questions had teams nodding along with a smile. Others — like the best-selling personal computer of the decade or which space shuttle actually made that first launch — required a little more than vibes and nostalgia.
