Mail from the Rift is a recurring segment on our YouTube channel where viewer-donated items are unboxed live and added to Time Rift Arcade, or at least admired, laughed at, and properly appreciated on camera.
If it’s retro, arcade-related, or just so cool it belongs in an arcade, we want to see it. That could mean classic consoles, old games, arcade PCBs, parts and boards, weird tech relics, display pieces, or even something totally unexpected that you think our guests (or staff) would lose their minds over.

Please send all items via UPS only. UPS knows our hours and delivers when we’re actually here. The U.S. Postal Service… does not, and there’s a very real chance your package could get returned to sender if you use USPS.

What can I send you?
Anything that you believe our audience would enjoy seeing uboxed on the channel. Anything retro, gaming, console, PC, arcade, or decor related would fit the theme. If you’re unsure, email mi*********@************de.com before sending.
Please note: Anything not relevant, offensive, or illegal will not be shown in the final video. Don’t waste your time.
Can I include a note for you to read?
Absolutely, in fact we hope you will! Please don’t put personal information or addresses on the note that you don’t want seen by our audience.
We also recommend keeping the note short, as we won’t have time to read long notes on camera.
Advertisements will not be shown on camera.
Will The 8-Bit Guy open my package on camera?
He might! If you prefer David open your package, please make a note on the outside of the box that you’d like David to open it. We can’t guarantee he will be available, but we do our best to make it happen!
What if the package is too big for UPS?
If the package is too big for UPS, you’ll need to contact us with more information before sending it. We’ll help arrange an LTL delivery if necessary.
Will you send the item back to me after unboxing?
No. By sending an item to our show, you are transferring ownership to the Time Rift Arcade. It cannot be returned.
Is it guaranteed my item will be on the show?
No. Some items may not make it onto the show for various reasons.
Offensive, illegal, or irrelevant items will not make the show.
When can I expect to see my item on the show?
Typically on the next episode. However, we may group similar items for special shows, or to open it with some related items. In this case, the unboxing will be held for that episode’s release.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By sending any item to Time Rift Arcade for consideration in Mail from the Rift, you acknowledge and agree that all items are voluntary donations, become the sole property of Time Rift Arcade upon receipt, and will not be returned. There is no guarantee that any donated item will be opened on camera, displayed, used, repaired, restored, or otherwise featured. No compensation, reimbursement, store credit, or tax receipt will be provided. All shipping and packaging costs, as well as the risk of loss or damage during transit, are the sole responsibility of the sender. Time Rift Arcade reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, discard, or decline to feature any item for any reason. Illegal, stolen, hazardous, obscene, hateful, or otherwise offensive or inappropriate items are strictly prohibited and may be disposed of or reported to authorities if required by law.
